Reviewed the effectiveness and capacity building capabilities
of the national mental health service user group and presented solutions
for identified areas of concern.

Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust
Reviewed the current effectiveness of their systems for user
involvement in their personal care and in planning services. Designed
a strategic, sustainable structure for the future which was adopted
by the Primary Care Trust.

Lead researcher on the user-led Strategies for Living Project

Provided service user input into the Change Network (a strategic
group with the brief of “Modernising Mental Health Services
in East London: A New Model for Health and Social Care”).

Headed the team developing models of recovery plans for zero-rated

Service in Hackney, guiding the strategic development and overseeing

Advised a team developing guidelines for Primary Care Trusts

Led a multi-disciplinary team of staff and service users in the
creation of formal policies and operational guidelines for
